PESHAWAR: The Orthopedic Department of Hayat Abad Medical Complex HMC Peshawar has organized two days workshop on fracture management and the delicacies involved in curing bones disease.
Senior faculties including imminent professors from all over the country attended the workshop and presented their research papers on various bone disease.
The aim of such a brainstorming session was to enlighten the trainees about the basic concepts and techniques of management of fractures so they can better manage these injuries to achieve satisfactory result.
The organizer of the workshop Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan said on the occasion that workshop spanning over two days is first of its nature on fracture management at HMC hospital.
Giving details of the two days activity, He said that workshop has been designed to cater to the educational needs of the young trainees; it included lectures by imminent professors like chairperson orthopedic department HMC Prof. Muhammad Arif, Dr. Muhammad Saeed while other senior professors also shared their research papers with the new entrants which was followed by the inter time question answer session.
He informed the media persons that 48 trainees from across the country have attended the workshop while two trainees from Afghanistan have also attended the brainstorming session.
At the conclusive session of the final day, an Award giving ceremony was held, to encourage the new trainees.
