2000 Olive plants to be planted at UoM

TIMERGARA: Vice Chancellor University of Malakand (UoM), Prof Dr. Gul Zaman has said that at least 2000 Olive plants will be planted in the university. He said this during plantation of Olive plant at Botanical Guardon in University on Wednesday.

Director Tarnab Form Dr. Shah Nawaz Khan, Chairman Botany Department Dr. Muhammad Nisar, Dean of Biological Sciences Dr. Muhammad Azam Khan and other faculty members were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, VC said that plantation was playing vital role in cleaning environment.

He said that the Olive plants will be used for research by the students. Chairman Department of Botany, Dr Muhammad Nisar said that the Tarnab Farm will provide 2000 Olive plants that will be good achievement by the University administration.
