22 Taliban, Daesh fighters killed in Nangarhar province

JALALABAD: At least 22 Taliban and Daesh fighters were in clashes and drone strike in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

Spokesman of Nangarhar governor, Attaullah Khugyani told media persons that Afghan forces conducted operation against the militants in the Bela area of Lalpura district of Afghanistan in which seven Taliban fighters were killed.

Security forces also recovered nine AK-47 rifles from their possessions, he added.

He added that drone aircraft carried out attack on the militants hideouts and killed 15 Daesh fighters in the Speenazai area of bordering Nazian district and destroyed the militant’s hideouts in the strike.
