LANDI KOTAL: Twenty three Afghan students’ studying in various educational institutions of the country were permitted to cross into Pakistan via the Torkham border on Friday night.
Deputy Commissioner, Khyber Mansoor Arshad while sharing details said that on the direction of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) entry of Afghan students is in progress and 23 Afghan students were permitted to cross into Pakistan through Torkham border.
All arrangements have been finalized to facilitate the students, he added.
According to the administrative official under the strict security, the students have been brought to Jirga hall, Landi Kotal where from they will be sent to quarantine centers in various districts.
The official maintained that all Afghan students studying in Pakistan will be let to enter in phases.
It is to be mentioned here that the government of Pakistan as a good gesture let the Afghan students who have enrolled in colleges and universities of Peshawar, Abbottabad, Islamabad etc. to continue their studies.
