JALALABAD: More than two dozens of Daesh gunmen were killed after a drone strike in the bordering Achin district of Nangarhar province, police said Wednesday.
The NATO-led foreign forces’ unmanned aircraft bombed Daesh hideout in Sheen Chobi area of Mamond Dara, Achin district, yesterday, killing 25 gunmen, said Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesman of Nangarhar police.
He told AIP that the Daesh hideout was also destroyed in the strike that did not harm civilians.
