2nd master TT cup tournament starts from 28th Jan

PESHAWAR: The 2nd Youth Empowering National Master Table Tennis Cup will be kicked off from 28th January at Arena Hall in Qayyum Sports Complex Peshawar.

The tournament is organized by Pakistan Table Tennis Federation and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Table Tennis Association in collaboration with KP Directorate of Sports. The five-day tournament will start from January 28 and will be continued to 1st February. All the preparation for the mega event is near to completion while table tennis players across Pakistan and all departments will participate in a huge number.

Sajjad Babar, chief organizer and national table tennis player, talking about the event said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir and players of different departments would take part with full enthusiasm in the tournament.

He said that almost 85 to 110 players would participate in the tournament which is a golden opportunity for the talented players, adding the KPTTA had taken the bold step with the support of directorate sports KP to promote the game in Pakistan. He further informed that Absar Ali, table tennis player and qualified coach would be organizing secretary of the event while Kifayat Ullah, senior vice president KPTTA would supervise all the competitions of the tournament.

He maintained that all the teams confirmed their participation in the event and on 27th January Azmat Hanif Orakzai, chairman KPTTA would formally inaugurate the opening ceremony of the master table tennis cup as chief guest.
