2nd RMI MCL: Markhor, Qalandars lock horns for the coveted trophy today

PESHAWAR: The final of the second edition of RMI Media Cricket League will be played today at Arbab Niaz Stadium between PPC Markhor and PPC Qalandars at 10 am. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak will be the chief guest on the occasion.

Markhor remained unbeaten throughout the tournament but Qalandars had also played some brilliant cricket in the tournament losing only one match. It is pertinent to mention here that 14 teams had taken part in the tournament divided into three groups.

First round of the tournament was played at Hassan Khan Shaheed Government School No 1 Hashtnagri while the semi-finals were also played at Arbab Niaz Stadium. The tournament was organized by Peshawar Press Club in collaboration with Rehman Medical Institute, Top Up mineral water, Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkwa and Traffic Wardon Police Peshawar.

Meanwhile, RMI will also organize free medical camp for the journalists and their families where the doctors will do free checkup.
