3 Georgian soldiers injured in suicide attack at Bagram

KABUL: At least three Georgian soldiers including a woman were injured in the suicide attack at Bagram Airbase on Thursday, the largest military base of NATO forces in Afghanistan.

Defence Ministry of Georgia issued a statement in this regard and said that two Georgian soldiers were minor injured while the female of lieutenant rank were in critical condition after the blasts.

Though local Afghan officials had reported that the suicide bomb injured four Afghan civilians, some reports suggested an Afghan interpreter was killed and several other Afghans sustained injuries.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told local media that 20 troops were killed and wounded in the attack.
