3 people dead after wall collapses in Kandahar

KANDAHAR (Khaama Press): At least three people died, and four others were injured after a wall of a family’s residential house collapsed in the Southern province of Kandahar, Afghanistan.
The provincial spokesperson, Hafiz Saber, confirmed that the incident occurred at 3 am Friday in Police District 9 of Kandahar City.
According to the sources, the family’s father died with his wife and one son, and two daughters and two sons were injured.
Meanwhile, the injured people have taken to the local Mirwais hospital for medical treatment. The deterioration of the house wall is cited as the cause of this wall’s collapse.
In addition, dozens of people have died in different provinces of the country due to the roof collapse.
It should be mentioned that heavy rains, earthquakes, and deterioration of residential houses are among the most critical causes of wall collapsing.
