30-member PML-Q Sindh delegation meets Shehbaz, joins PML-N

KARACHI: A 30-member delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-Q Sindh, led by its general secretary Matti-ur-Rahman, called on President Pakistan Muslim League-N and Punjab Chief Minster Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here at the Governor’s House Monday and announced joining the PML-N.

According to a handout issued here, expressing confidence in the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif, the delegation members paid tribute to the PML-N chief over his untiring efforts for the prosperity the people of Punjab, saying they were impressed by his development vision.

Shehbaz Sharif welcomed them into the PML-N and said the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) had become the most popular political party in the country due to its politics of serving the people.

The PML-N government, he said, had steered the country out of crises and paved the way for its development and progress. “Every initiative of the PML-N government is meant for the welfare of people and provision of relief to them. Jointly we will improve the conditions in Karachi and in Sindh,” he added.

Those, who joined the PML-N, included Mehdi Hussain Shah, President Railways Union, Abdul Ghafoor, President Sui Southern Union, Tariq Arain, President PTCL Union, and Ahmed Hussain, Asif Qureshi and other presidents of different union councils.
