31 armed oppositions killed: MoD

KABUL (Agencies): The national defense ministry with releasing a statement reported from killing of 31 armed oppositions in clearing operations in five provinces of the country.

National defense ministry press office told reporters, the defense and security forces with support of air forces in the last 24 hours conducting clearing operations in Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Zabul, and Paktia province, killed 31 armed oppositions, and wounded 22 others. Numerous of heavy and light weapons and several hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed in the operations.
