KABUL (TOLO News): Wahid Majroh, health deputy minister, announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours 361 positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Afghanistan, bringing the total to 4402.
According to Majroh, five patients have died in the past 24 hours, while 65 others have recovered from the lethal coronavirus.
The death toll from COVID-19 in Afghanistan now has reached120, and 558 patients have recovered so far.
The new positive cases have been reported in Kabul, Herat, Kandahar, Balkh, Paktia, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Laghman, Wardak, Samangan, Jawzjan, Panjshir, Paktika, Zabul, Parwan, Kunar, Badakhshan and Sar-e-Pul provinces.
Kabul, with 117 coronavirus cases, has the highest number of new cases registered in the past 24 hours, followed by Herat with 59 and Kandahar with 26.
