PESHAWAR: Third edition of RMI Media Cricket League will begin from April 1 in which 20 teams of journalists will take part in the 28 days event.
Around 280 members of Khyber Union of Journalists (KhUJ) and Peshawar Press Club (PPC) will be part of different teams.
This was announced by Chairman PPC Sports Committee Kashif Uddin during a press conference at PPC on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion Manager Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) Major (retd) Naveed said that RMI was trying its best to be part of social services and media cricket league was one of such initiative.
General Secretary Peshawar Press Club Zafar Khan said that other sponsors had also contacted for being main sponsor of the event, but PPC opted for RMI. In all 47 matches will be played in the tournament. 20 teams are divided into five pools.
