4 innovative Balkh students build their own vehicle

BALKH (Ariana News): Four innovative high school students in Balkh province are enthusiastically building a vehicle, at their own cost, and are using only basic materials.
The teenage boys have so far spent about 100,000 afghanis ($1,400) on the vehicle, which they started building about 40 days ago.
The ambitious teenagers say they want the government to support programs that encourage creativity in the youth. Local authorities in the province meanwhile gave their assurance that they will support innovation among young people.
Using only the most basic of equipment, the teenagers say once complete their vehicle will carry passengers and hold up to one ton in weight.
This comes amid growing appeals from the youth across the country for the government to establish centers where such innovations, and others, can be realized.
