48 persons diagnosed with AIDS in Chiniot

CHINIOT:  At least 48 people including child were reported AIDS positive in a suburb Chak No.127 of Chiniot in the last two and half month.

As per details, the PCR of the affected people were sent to Lahore Where Director AIDS control Program, Dr Adnan told media that 30 people have positive result however the local claimed that at least 17 people of two families were died due to this disease so far.

According to details, the victims’ PCR samples were sent to Lahore where Director AIDS program Dr Adnan said that 30 people have PCR positive while the locals revealed that at least 17 people of two families have been died due to this disease so far.
The affected patients were shifted to Lahore hospital whereas parents of three children refused to send them hospital.

The locals have also appealed from Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif to send rescue teams for the prevention of this outbreak.
