66 connections disconnected in Punjab, KP and Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 66 connections while imposing fine of Rs. 2.69 million and 512 under billing cases processed.

In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas and another 3 on use of compressor, 177 Under billing cases have been processed and amount of Rs 0.96 booked against gas theives and under billing cases. In Bahawalpur, the regional team disconnected four connections on use of compressor while another two on illegal use of gas and 9 Under billing cases have been processed.The company disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas and another two on use of the compressor,80 Under billing cases have been processed and fine of Rs 0.21 Million imposed against gas pilferers in Multan.

In Peshawar, the company disconnected 28 connections on account of direct use of gas and illegal connections. The regional team also lodged 1 FIRs against gas thieves and also imposed fine of Rs 0.78 against gas theives.In Rawalpindi the regional team disconnected two gas connection on illegal use .In Mardan Four connections were disconnected against illegal use of gas while imposing fine of Rs 0.11 million.

In Sialkot, the team imposed fine of Rs 0.05 gainst gas pilferes . The regional team in Gujranwala 11 under billing cases have been processed and 2 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. The region also imposed fine of Rs. 0.25 million on gas theft and under billing cases.

In Sahiwal, three connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. In Faisalabad 13 under billing cases processed and 0ne connection was disconnected on illegal use of gas. Fine of Rs. 0.16 million was also imposed against gas pilferers. The team in Gujarat booked an amount of Rs 0.03 against gas theft and under billing cases.
In Sargodha, the company booked 222 Under billing cases and 5 connections were disconnected on direct use of gas. The team imposed fine of Rs0.14 million against under billing cases.
