8 killed in Muzaffargarh building collapse

MUZAFFARGARH: Eight people died when a three-storey building collapsed on Tuesday in city’s Qunwan Chowk area.

Deputy Commissioner Muzzafargarh informed the media that 13 people have been pulled out from the rubble. Eight people died and five sustained injuries, he added.

He further told the media that building was being constructed by a mason without following any rules and building collapsed due to removal of structure.

Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar expressed grief over loss of lives in the tragic incident and directed officials to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
