A better future of Pakistan associated with educated youth: Governor KP

PESHAWAR (APP): Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali Sunday said that the better future of the country is related to the educated youth and the youth cannot be seen in any situation. The provision of all educational facilities including quality education to the youth is one of the primary duties of the federal and provincial governments, Haji Ghulam Ali said.

It is desired that no child should be deprived of basic needs such as education due to unfavorable conditions, male and female students should not waste their time, he added. Young people should spend their valuable time reading books and use social media including the internet according to their educational needs, said the Governor while advising the youth.

He was addressing a joint 70-member delegation comprising students of the University of Peshawar, Agricultural University, Khyber Medical College, NCS and Imam Abu Hanifa College at the Governor’s House.

The delegation also visited the Governor’s House. In the meeting, the delegation informed the governor about the problems of fees, scholarships, etc. for the students. The delegation also thanked the governor for his hospitality in the governor’s house.

There is a governor who has not only kept the doors of the governor’s house open for everyone, but also takes steps to solve their problems on a priority basis. He said that he is the first governor of the province who not only visited the universities but also invited delegation from different sectors to sort out their problems as early as he could.

He encouraged the students but also honored them by inviting them to the Governor’s House. Speaking to the delegation, the governor said that the governor will talk to the heads of the relevant educational institutions including the vice chancellors regarding the provision of scholarships and waiving of fees to the poor students studying in universities and colleges across the province including Peshawar and in this regard.

Full cooperation will also be provided by the Governor’s House. He said that all the universities, including Khyber Medical University, were directed to provide absolutely free education to the disabled children on scholarship so that they could also serve the country in a better way.

The governor said that the youth are our valuable capital and we have to ensure the protection of this valuable capital, but the youth should also use their energies and abilities positively to become a part of social development, our youth today are getting education based on modern facilities. “If the facilities are more, the challenges and expectations are also more,” the Governor said.

The governor said that the provincial and federal governments are spending a lot of money for the promotion of education and are making every possible effort to provide modern facilities.

He said the students are in a better position to shine not only the name of their parents, region but also the name of the country and the nation.
