AAF drops laser-guided bomb on Taliban in Farah

FARAH: Afghan Air Force dropped a laser-guided bomb on Taliban hideout in Farah operation.

The AAF used the laser-guided successfully after completing their training to use the laser-guided bombs in combat missions.

According to a report by the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission, the bomb was dropped during a mission on 22nd of March in western Farah province of Afghanistan.

The report added that the AAF used the laser-guided technology because of the target’s close proximity to civilians.

This laser-guided drop is just another chapter in the success story of the AAF, the report adds.
