Aamir Khan likely to play the lead role in the Gulshan Kumar biopic

Monitoring Desk

MUMBAI: If the latest rumours are to be believed, Aamir Khan is back in the picture to play the lead in the Gulshan Kumar biopic. After the debacle of Thugs Of Hindustan, Aamir has started work on his new project and is reportedly even losing weight for the same. The biopic which is being titled Mogul will be produced by Bhushan Kumar under T series banner.

According to the latest report, makers of Mogul are now looking out for a new director for the project. Aamir Khan had walked out of the project soon after #MeToo allegations surfaced against director Subhash Kapoor.

A source informed, “Aamir, on his part too, was keen to play the music mogul and so they have now once again decided to collaborate. Of course, they will now rope in a new director and they are on the lookout. The film will roll as soon as they can finalise the director,”

If these reports are true, it would be interesting to see Aamir playing the music mogul in the biopic.
