Aamir Khan responds to rumors of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ remake
MUMBAI: Rumours of a remake of Andaz Apna Apna have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Producers Vinny Sinha and Priti Sinha are reportedly planning to bring back the cult classic with some changes in the plot. Reports also claimed that Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh are the two leads being considered for the project.
And while everyone is definitely excited over the prospect of a remake, it seems that Aamir Khan is keen for a reboot as well. In an interview with a leading daily, the actor stated that even though he doesn’t know the credibility of these rumours, he believes that they should do a remake. He added that since the film has received so much love from the audience, they would love to relive it on screen once again. He also said that though he doesn’t know what is being planned, irrespective of a remake or a part two or an offshoot, he would like to see what new comes with it.
On the work front, Aamir recently launched his latest venture Rubaru Roshni. The actor took to social media to announce the same, with a message that read, “Hey guys, our next film from Aamir Khan Productions (AKP) is premiering on StarPlus, on January 26, 2019, at 11 am. It’s something that Kiran and I have produced, and which we are very close to. ‘Rubaru Roshni’. Don’t miss it.” Directed by Svati Chakravarti Bhatkal, the film revolves around three stories of forgiveness that changed the course of Indian history.
