Accountability across board should continue: Tariq Cheema

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Housing and Works Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema Monday said across the board accountability of all and sundries should continue.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said the present government had not registered cases against Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian President Asif Ali Zardari.

He said Asif Zardari had provided equal opportunity to pursue his cases at every level so that he never questioned the impartiality of the government. He would be provided ample opportunity to defend himself, he added.

To a question, the minister said accountability should be done under the law of those who had looted the national exchequer and people of the country.
