KABUL (BNA): Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, the Acting Minister of Information and Culture, met with the CEO of MCC mining company, which holds the contract for the Mes Aynak mine, in his office on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Mullarh Khairullah Khairkhwah emphasized the importance of cultural heritage and declared its preservation as a priority for the ministry.
He assured full cooperation in the mining of the Aynak Copper Mine and stated that historical monuments are not exclusive to one country, but their protection is the responsibility of all nations.
The CEO of MCC company expressed their commitment to conducting the mining operations of the Aynak copper mine in a manner that ensures the protection of cultural and historical monuments. He also requested further cooperation from the Ministry of Information and Culture in this regard.
