KABUL (NNA: Dr. Qalander Ebad, Acting Minister of Public Health, met with Leonard Zulu, the representative responsible for the Office of the United Nations Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) at
his office.
According to a statement from Publice Health Ministry, during the meeting, the Acting Minister of Public Health stated that the ministry is fully prepared for the health of migrants and returnees and requested cooperation from this organization in this regard.
He thanked the continued collaboration of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in the field of migrant returns and called for the establishment of further facilities in the health sector.
Officials from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, in addition to ensuring cooperation in the field of migrant return, discussed the issue of health care and the establishment of new medical centers.
