KARACHI: Rising actor Hira Soomro revealed she gets marriage proposals from her male fans despite being married.
Model-turned-actor Hira Soomro was recently seated with a digital channel for a tell-all when she said that many of her fans don’t know about her marriage and kids, as she tied the knot before entering the showbiz industry.
The actor shared that she got married to her cousin even before graduation. “It was a love-cum-arrange marriage, and we had our Nikah while I was studying,” she stated adding that her rukhsati was arranged within 10 days, because of her mother’s illness.
Upon being asked about her education and career choice, Soomro said that she is a media science graduate and wanted to be in showbiz since childhood, either as a director or actor. However, she joined the industry first as a model while still being in university.
The celebrity mentioned that she started doing dramas after marriage with the support of her husband and in-laws, who have always encouraged her to pursue her career and never restricted her from doing any type of role.
Moreover, she revealed that many of her fans who are not aware of her marriage and kids have expressed their wish to marry her via the comments section of social media, while others complain her about getting married early. The celebrity said that she and her husband enjoy such comments together, and he never gets upset about them.
It is pertinent to mention that Hira Soomro is the mother to two kids, a daughter Jasia and a son Musa.
