LAHORE: Saba Qamar has revealed that she got the second vaccine jab administered.
“I’m fully vaccinated,” Saba said as she shares a shot from a vaccination centre on Friday.
Saba is very much active on social media and has 4.6 million followers on Instagram.
Her pose in the all-black outfit at the vaccination centre garnered thousands of hearts from her fans and followers.
She made an appeal for getting administered at the earliest to stem the spread of the deadly virus.
“Get your loved ones vaccinated as well.”
Social media is full of photos and videos of celebrities being administered vaccines, calling upon their fans and followers to be part of the campaign to stem the spread of the deadly virus.
Pakistan has immunised over 71 million people across the country so far. This accounts for only 25% of the total population.
The government aims to inoculate 40% of the population by the end of September. Another consignment of one million Sinopharm and three million Sinovac doses reached Pakistan.
NCOC chief Asad Umar said that 50% of people in Islamabad, above the age of 15 years, have been fully vaccinated against the deadly virus. He has urged the nation to get immunised as soon as possible.
The government has reduced the gap between the vaccine doses from 42 to 28 days as well.
