Adil Raja apologizes to Kubra Khan for distress caused by his allegations

KARACHI: Former army major Adil Raja formally and publicly apologized to actress Kubra Khan for the damage and distress caused by his allegations.

Adil Raja took to his twitter handle and tweeted a reply to Kubra Khan’s post saying: “My intention was never to target any women but to pinpoint a bigger problem pertinent in the system.”

He apologized and said: “I am profoundly sorry for the distress caused by speculations arising due to me giving initials, which didn’t include yours.

Further he added: “I again appeal to avoid speculations without proof”.

Kubra Khan Thursday filed a petition against YouTuber Major (retd) Adil Farooq Raja over spreading defamatory rumours in Sindh High Court (SHC).

Sindh High Court ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to completely block all content posted on social media against TOP Pakistani actresses Mehwish Hayat, Kubra Khan, Mahira Khan and Sajal Aly.
