PESHAWAR: Adopting the core values of this region in our individual and collective lives will help control corruption. This he said on the occasion of inauguration ceremony of heritage wall project.
As per details the ceremony of Inauguration of Heritage Wall was held at Swabi Interchange on motorway. Director General NAB KP, Brig (R) Farooq Naser Awan was the chief guest on the occasion. On the occasion, he stressed on adopting the core value system of this region in day to day lives. He expressed the importance of internal accountability for the control of the menace of corruption.
He apprised the audience that NAB KP is working to implement Chairman NAB Justice (R) Javed Iqbal’s vision of “Accountability for All” and striving to provide relief to general public through effective accountability regime.
It is worth mentioning here that the heritage wall on Motorway at Swabi Interchange rest area will depict Pakhtun Culture, History, Heroes. The wall will depict the anti-corruption messages along with cultural history of this region.
The plan is to provide an introduction of this region to people right on motorway and to reinforce the traditional value system of Pakhtun culture.
