Afghan forces foiled 35 attacks

KABUL: Officials in the Ministry of Interior are saying that the Afghan security forces foiled 35 attacks during the three days of Eid Al-Fitr. Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said the militants planned to carry out 35 attacks in Kabul city during Eid days.

Rahimi further added that the security forces successfully thwarted the militants bid to conduct terrorist attacks. He also added that the security forces also confiscated a Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device or car bomb in Kabul city.

Rahimi also added that the security forces foiled at least 70 attacks across the country during the three days of Eid. (Khaama Press)
