F.P. Report

LANDI KOTAL: Entry of more than one hundred and fifty Pakistan nationals have been restricted by the Afghan government at Torkham border here on Wednesday.

One of the restricted passengers of Landi Kotal said that the Afghan border security officials snatched their passports soon after their approach to the border.

He maintained that after disclosure of their identity as Pakistani their passports were seized without any reason besides they had legal travelling documents.

We are waiting for hours outside the building of Afghan custom across the border and have repeatedly visited the Afghan highup for a reply but they have kept silent on the matter.

The forces official also confirmed it and said that hundreds of Pakistani pedestrians, mostly residents of Khyber, were stuck on the Afghan side of Torkham.
