KANDAHAR: Afghan journalist Abdul Manan Arghand was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Kandahar city of Afghanistan on Wednesday.
The local media reported that the 31 year-old Arghand had been driving in his car when gunmen, riding on a motorcycle, opened fire on him, in a result he died on the spot.
Arghand is survived by his wife and three children.
At least 15 journalists and media workers were killed, many in targeted attacks.
