KABUL (Agencies): On Tuesday, a bilateral meeting stressed the continuation of the technology cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran.
The Afghan Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mawlawi Najibullah Haqqani, met Iran ambassador to Afghanistan, Bahadur Aminian, and his accompanying delegations on Tuesday.
Minister Haqqani hailed the Iranian delegation and shared some the Ministry major accomplishments during the past one year.
Aminian the Iranian ambassador vowed in behave of his country to provides assistance in capacity building, education, communication, information technology, and mutual experiences of experts in the technology sector of both countries.
Meanwhile, Haqqani asked the Iranian delegation to support Afghanistan in terms of infrastructure construction, equipment production, and other sectors, he stressed for connection of Afghanistan with fiber by sea so that Iran can enjoy the same facilities to Central Asia and South Asia using the geographical location of Afghanistan.
According to the statement of the Ministry in the meeting the technical and professional deputy of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Prof. Ahmed Masood Latif Rai, and other officials of the Ministry were attended.
