Afghanistan and Malaysia pledge continued cooperation

KABUL (BNA): Naqibullah Ahmadi, Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Malaysia, met with Kendy Mayung Onon, the newly appointed Director of Central and South Asian Affairs at Malaysia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During this meeting, both sides discussed the recent developments in their bilateral relations and explored opportunities for further cooperation.

According to a statement from the Afghanistan Embassy in Malaysia, Ahmadi reiterated Afghanistan’s commitment to fostering closer ties with Malaysia and assured full cooperation in future endeavors. He expressed a strong interest in advancing the bilateral relationship and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration.

Onon, for his part, outlined Malaysia’s approach to strengthening its relations with Afghanistan, providing insights into the current state of affairs and Malaysia’s future plans for engagement. He highlighted Malaysia’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan and underscored the potential for deepening ties between the two nations.
