Afghanistan blocks laborers entry via Torkham border

LANDI KOTAL: The border security forces of Emarate Islami, Afghanistan suspended entry of manual workers to Afghanistan via Torkham border on Tuesday in protest against the killing of an Afghan laborer last day.

It is worth mentioning here that the previous day an Afghan laborer fell down and was killed by an Afghanistan returned vehicle when he attempted to cross into Pakistan illegally.

The Pak security official while confirming the news said that the Afghan troops banned entry of laborers to their country for indefinite time to object to the killing of their countryman last day.

It is to be stated here that hundreds of thousands Pak and Afghan laborers are involved in petty businesses at the border to earn three times the meal for their families.
