ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said Afghanistan must take steps for the elimination of the terrorist safe heavens on its land.
This he said while giving interview to a foreign media, PM Abbasi said that Pakistan initiated grand operation against the terrorists in the country and it destroyed the safe heavens of terrorists within our territory.
Pakistan suffered so much because of Afghanistan situation but still Pakistan played their positive role in rebuilding Afghanistan and now it is totally wrong to put blame of instability in Afghanistan on Pakistan because instability in Afghanistan affects Pakistan, PM Abbasi added.
Abbasi reiterated that Pakistan wants to work with US in elimination of terrorism and if US has any queries it should discuss them with Pakistan and adding that the Afghan issue should not be made a part of the relationship between US and Pakistan.
