Afghanistan needs development supports beside humanitarian aids

KABUL (Agencies): The country’s Acting Finance Minister, Mullah Hidayatullah Badri met with the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Afghanistan Rosa Otunbayeva.
in a meeting, Minister Badri thanking the United Nations for the humanitarian aid to the Afghans and urged that the humanitarian aid should be carry out in coordination with the government departments, adding that Afghanistan, beside humanitarian aids need support in development sectors of the country, said a statement released by the ministry.
For her part, the head of UNAMA, stressed for the protection of economic stability in Afghanistan, the creation of the national budget and the implementation of development activities in addition to the regular budget.
She reaffirms that the United Nations will continue its positive interaction and humanitarian aid with Afghanistan.
