Afridi apprises PM businessmen issues

ISLAMABAD: Peshawar Zalmi Chairman, Javed Afridi met Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad on Wednesday and presented to the Prime Minister various suggestions regarding the problems faced by the business community and industries in the current situation of the coronavirus.

Javed Afridi told the Prime Minister that the Haier Pakistan and Zalmi Foundation will cooperate with the Coronavirus Relief Fund and relief activities in the second phase.

The Prime Minister Imran Khan said that relevant SOPs have been compiled for industrial activities allowed by the government.

He said that it was the joint responsibility of the government and manufacturers to ensure the implementation of SOPs.

He further said that while on the one hand, effective measures were being taken to prevent the coronavirus, and on the other precautionary measures to ensure the flow of industrial activities and business activities as far as possible so that the economic hardships of the workers as well as white color people.

In this regard, the strategy is constantly being reviewed so that the process is adjusted according to the circumstances.
