Afridi scores hat-trick in T10 league against Maratha Arabians

SHARJAH: Veteran star all-rounder Shahid Afridi bowled three wonderful deliveries against the Maratha Arabians team and gets a hat-trick in the second match of the T10 Cricket League at Sharjah on Thursday.

Pakhtoons team set the target of 122 runs for the Maratha Arabians.

Captain of Maratha Arabian, Virender Sehwag won the toss and elected to field first and they managed to score 96 for 7 while chasing Pakhtoon’s highest score of the League.

Afridi snapped up three for 19 and Sohail Khan and Mohammed Irfan took two apiece as the Pakhtoons won comfortably in the end.

Both the teams are laced with some of the best cricketers from India, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, West Indies, Sri Lanka, England and UAE.
