ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal has paid the price of three Toshakhana gifts at market rates, on Tuesday.
In a letter to the secretary Cabinet Division, the minister has said he has voluntarily deposited over Rs1.9 million in the Toshakhana, which are the cost of these gifts.
He has further said that the price of these three gifts was estimated at over Rs2.4 million.
Earlier, he went on to say, he had paid over Rs0.1 million for the gifts according to law. “And now I have paid the remaining amount,” he informed.
