Ahsan to participate in annual session of IMF, World Bank on October 11

ISLAMABAD:  Interior Minister, Ahsan Iqbal will participate in the annual session of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank on October, the officials confirmed that he will leave for the United States today (Tuesday).

The officials told that Ahsan Iqbal will also raise the matter of US Secretary State of Defense James Mattis statement regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and adding that Interior Minister will also hold meeting with leaders of different countries.

Interior Minister will make sure to take in confidence the world leaders regarding the CPEC and will also trying to get support in anti- drug operation.

Sources have further revealed that the interior minister will give lectures on the role of CPEC at School of Advanced International Studies and Johns Hopkins University.
