Air attacks leaves 9 dead in Balkh province

MAZAR-E-SHARIF CITY (Agencies): At least nine armed oppositions were killed following air raids conducted by Afghan air forces in northern Balkh province. Mohammad Haneef Rezayee spokesman of 209 Shaheen army corps said, the terrorists have been targeted by Afghan air forces, while they wanted to launch attacks on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Chahar Bolak and Dawlat Abad districts of the Balkh province.

Nine insurgents were killed and five others were wounded following the air raids, Rezayee added.

Taliban said nothing about the air attacks so far.
