Air Chief discusses professional matters pertaining to PAF with PM Abbasi

ISLAMABAD: The new Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at Prime Minister’s Office here on Tuesday and discussed with him professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

The Prime Minister congratulated Chief of Air Staff on assuming his new responsibilities and expressed the hope that PAF would greatly benefit from his professional capabilities and leadership.

The Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan thanked the Prime Minister for reposing confidence in him and assured that he would perform to the best of his abilities for further strengthening air defence of the Country.

The Air Chief assured the Premier Abbasi that he would perform to the best of his abilities for further strengthening air defence of the country.

Later, the Chief of Air Staff also held a meeting with the Federal Minister for Defence Khurram Dastgir Khan at the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi.

The Defence Minister also congratulated the new air chief on his appointment and wished him every success in taking PAF forward as a 21st century guardian of the nation’s air frontiers.

Professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Air Force came under discussion during the meeting.
