Monitoring Desk

MUMBAI: Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn are all set to work together once again after almost 10 years in Luv Ranjan’s next. They were earlier seen in Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti (2010).

While earlier there were reports that the film has been shelved due to script issues, Ajay Devgn has now confirmed that the film is happening. In his recent statement given to Mumbai Mirror, Ajay said, “Ranbir and I start shooting from next year as planned. The film is being scripted.”

Known for directing superhit films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Ranjan’s film was originally scheduled to go on floors in 2018. It was later pushed to April 2019. Now as per Ajay’s statement, the film will go on floors in 2020.

Excited to work with both the actors, Luv earlier said, “Ajay and Ranbir’s spontaneity and versatility is electrifying. I am elated to be working with not one, but two powerhouse performers in my next film.”

Ajay was all praise for his Raajneeti co-star as he said, “Ranbir is an impeccable actor with a great ability to deliver nuanced performances. He is undeniably the most talented actor of his generation. I am looking forward to collaborating with him.”
