MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar’s latest release Kesari is doing well at the box-office and the actor seems to be rejoicing currently. However, soon enough, Akshay will move on to shooting for his next.
Akshay’s next is Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi. The female lead for the film has not been finalized yet, however, the latest reports suggest that Akshay is keen on roping in Katrina Kaif for the part. Katrina and Akshay have starred together in several blockbusters and Akshay feels that it is time for them to collaborate again.
According to reports, Akshay has put his foot down and asked the director to consider Katrina for the role seriously. Earlier in January, Rohit Shetty had denied reports of the actresses starring in the film. But with fresh rumours cropping up again, we wonder if Rohit will finally cast the stunning actress as the female lead in Sooryavanshi.
