MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar has been known as Khiladi Kumar in Bollywood. The actor has impressed with his skills in action films through the years. Of late he also tried his hand at other genres and has left audiences impressed. One such genre has been horror.
The actor entertained the audience with his performance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007). Now he’s set to venture in the same genre yet again albeit after long. Akshay confirmed during a recent interview that he would be doing a horror film after Dharma Productions’ Good News. Though he didn’t reveal further details, the film, say sources, will be the remake of Raghava Lawrence’s Telugu film Kanchana. The Hindi version will be directed by Lawrence as well.
Dharma Productions’ Good News stars Kareena Kapoor Khan alongside Akshay. The shooting for the film is underway. Akshay’s upcoming release Kesari is also creating a buzz currently as the actor is busy promoting it since the past few days. We wish him all the best for all his upcoming projects. Kesari hits the theatres on March 21, 2019.
