Akshay Kumar to play a lead role in India’s first space movie
MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar will be seen battling it out with superstar Rajnikanth in 2.0 which also stars Amy Jackson. The actor is now all set for a major collaboration with Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films for three films wherein he will be seen playing the lead role. The first film to go on floors in this venture is India’s first space movie, Mission Mangal, which will be directed by Jagan Shakti and will be in collaboration with R Balki. The shooting for the movie begins in mid-November.
When Akshay Kumar was asked about the same, he said, “I am delighted to find a new creative partner in Fox Star Studios and am looking forward to creating a collaboration that will deliver a meaningful and entertaining cinematic experience. With our combined energies, we hope to create content that not only excites but also empowers.”
