LAHORE (Web desk): Singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar has appealed the government to lockdown country in wake of coronavirus pandemic as the situation is worsening every day.
“The need for lockdown is necessary to tackle the spread of Corona,” the actor said in a video shared on his Twitter handle.
“We have two examples right in front of us, China and Italy – the measure China took has helped the country stop the spread of Corona whereas in Italy apart from the recent lockdown, the virus had widespread effect amongst the population with the death toll surpassing China,” the actor added.
“I urge the government to take necessary steps to avoid the spread of Coronavirus in Pakistan,” said Ali Zafar.
