MUMBAI: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are probably one of the most loved couples of B-town. From spending quality time with each other to accompanying their respective families for special occasions, the two seem to be in a really happy space at the moment. However, recently for a special screening of Gully Boy the duo turned up together and it seemed that the couple were arguing. In the video, Ranbir looked annoyed with Alia over some reason.
However, putting all the rumours of a rift to bed, Alia confirmed that she was indeed Valentining on Valentine’s day. The actress said, “I was definitely Valentining on that day. Since I’ve been promoting Gully Boy, I had a late night and woke up late on Valentine’s Day. I was flooded with messages and greetings about our film along with some Valentine’s greetings and some marriage proposals from strangers as well.”
Since the release of Gully Boy also took place on Valentine’s day, it was pretty obvious that Alia was on a tight schedule. However, she made sure to spend some quality time with beau Ranbir. She said, “There was time for Ranbir also, don’t worry.”
Alia Bhatt was last seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. People all over have praised her portrayal of Safeena, a muslim girl from a conservative family who rebels against the patriarchy and the shackles that they have constrained her with.
