Alizeh Shah cites late payment as reason for pausing acting

(Web Desk): Talented actor Alizeh Shah has said she is not doing more dramas because she is not given payment on time.

Recently, Alizeh has been speaking out more about problems in the entertainment industry.

Sometimes, she has to wait 3 to 4 months for her a cheque, and she had to ask many times just to get her due money.

She added that she will only work where she feels respected.

Alizeh Shah, who first appeared in the movie Superstar and became popular after her role in Ehd e Wafa, has been in the spotlight for both her acting and the controversies around her.

These days, she is working less and not taking on many new drama projects. Over time, she has also gone through a big transformation in how she looks and presents herself.

She called out married men who flirt with other women, and said that people unfairly judge her for the clothes she wears—even though she has never done anything wrong to get roles.

Actor Syed Mohammad Ahmed recently spoke about not being paid by producers, and Alizeh shared that she faces the same issue.

People online had mixed reactions to her comments. One person said, “You’re disrespected because you disrespect others.” Another asked, “If the industry is so bad, how do you pay for all your foreign trips?” Someone else added, “Stop blaming everything on payments. You don’t get work because of your own behavior. Don’t try to copy your seniors.”
