Alizeh Shah reveals suffering from PTSD, regrets being part of showbiz industry

(Web Desk) : Actress Alizeh Shah has revealed that the harsh experiences in the showbiz industry have mentally affected her to the extent that she has been diagnosed with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder).

In a recent Instagram post, Alizeh Shah shared that she is suffering from PTSD. She stated that 12-hour work shifts and the treatment she endured during work broke her from within.

According to Alizeh, people assume she exposed individuals in the industry to gain work opportunities, but they may not realize how much this perception hurts her.

She explained that she is living with PTSD, and the experiences she faced in the industry shattered her to the point where she began hating herself and questioning why she ever became a part of it.

The actress clarified that she has no desire for projects or offers given out of false sympathy. She says every day that she wishes she had never been a part of this humiliating world, where people treated her as if she were nothing during 12-hour daily shifts.

She emphasized that the trauma still lingers, and she did not expose people to gain more projects but rather wants to be left alone, as the bitter memories of the industry make her ill, and the wounds remain etched in her heart.

Previously, Alizeh Shah had claimed that during a drama shoot, co-actress Minsa Malik slapped her, to which she responded by throwing a sandal. According to her, Minsa Malik then tried to tarnish her reputation and even sent her death threats, leading Alizeh to file a defamation lawsuit against the actress.

It is worth noting that PTSD is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing a terrifying or traumatic event.
